I create a SMS message?
A: You first need to login to your SMS Office account,
Click here to login. Then select the "Message
templates". Select "My Messages" then click the "New"
button to create a new Message template.
Q: How much will my message
A: A SMS message will generally cost 1 SMS = 1
credit. The following can effect message costs.
- Message Length: If your Message is longer
than 160 characters it becomes a 2 part concatenated message.
This increases message costs to 1 credit per part.
- Destination Network: So networks cost more
than 1 credit to send to, please refer to our
chart to find prices to all our destination networks.
Q: Quick or Bulk SMS
A: The uses to quick and Bulk SMS
- Quick SMS is used to send a SMS message
to a single mobile number
- Bulk SMS is used to send a SMS message
to 1 or more of your contact lists. this option includes useful
functions such as SMS Merge that allow you to send out personalised

the difference between flash and normal SMS?
A: The differences between "normal" and "flash" SMS are:
- Normal SMS: sends a standard SMS message
to the mobile number.
- Flash SMS: sends a flash SMS message to
recipients mobile phone, instead of the message going to the
phone inbox it gets displayed directly onto the screen.
Q: How long will my message take to be delivered?
A: Typically messages are delivered within 3 minutes.
Q: What is a "Sender ID" and how can I use it?
A: When a message arrives on a persons mobile
phone, the "Sender ID" is the ID of the send of the message. By
default it is the mobile number that you registered on SMS
Office with. You can however change this manually if you wish.
Q: Does SMS Office support alphanumeric Sender ID's?
A: Yes, but this feature is not available to all destination networks.
Q: Why haven't my messages been delivered?
A: There are various reasons for messages not being delivered;
- The destination network is not supported by SMS Office,
please refer to our international cover chart to check
- The mobile phone of the recipient may be out of network
coverage or switched off.
Q: Why haven't I received delivery reports for some of my messages?
A: Delivery status reports are not supported by all destination networks.
Q: What does an unknown message status mean?
A: An unknown status is shown by the system when no delivery report has been
received by the destination network.
